We are thrilled to introduce Luis Vega as our new Law Clerk at Dordick Law Corporation. Born and raised in San Diego County, Luis is a first-generation Mexican American and the first in his family to attend college and pursue higher education. His journey, marked by resilience and determination, serves as a powerful example to his younger brother and the broader community that achieving one’s dreams is possible, regardless of background.
Luis earned his bachelor’s degree in criminology, law, and society from the University of California, Irvine, in 2019. He is currently a rising 3L at Southwestern Law School, set to graduate in 2025. At Southwestern, Luis has excelled as a Dean’s Merit Scholar, recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence, and a distinguished member of the Southwestern Law Review.
Before law school, Luis gained extensive experience working with litigators across various fields, including criminal defense, personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, and elder abuse. This summer, he joins us to support our litigation processes and expand his knowledge of trial advocacy.
Outside of work, Luis enjoys staying active with weightlifting, running, and beach outings. When he wants to relax, he turns to reading.
