Gary A. Dordick has held the record for the highest jury verdicts in numerous courthouses in California, including record-breaking verdicts of $2.25 billion verdict in Riverside County in California in 2023 that is believed to be the largest single-plaintiff compensatory damage personal injury verdict in history.
His $125 million dollar jury verdict in Ventura County in 2016 is believed to be the largest drunk driving verdict, sending a message to be heard around the world that drunk driving will not be tolerated.
Dordick Law Corporation also holds the record for the largest personal injury verdict in Arizona history – $31,550,825! That case was tried by Gary A. Dordick and partner Christopher V. Bulone.
And, in 2023, Gary A. Dordick and the Dordick family created an endowment at Loyola Law School for the purpose of increasing diversity in the legal profession. This led to the school renaming the advocacy building on campus to “The Dordick Family Trial Advocacy Building.”
Gary A. Dordick also makes significant contributions towards cancer research through the Dordick Trial College, held annually in May.

Takata Air Bag Death – KNBC 4
Case Summary
Mr. Dordick, the lawyer for a family of a SoCal man suing air bag maker Takata said he is certain he’d be alive today had his air bag deployed properly. According to the lawsuit and the medical examiner’s report obtained by NBC4, Devin Xu, 47, died from head injuries sustained “as a result of the deployment of an air bag,” citing a “metallic portion” that hit him in the face as it deployed.

Once seen as a titan of law in Los Angeles, it was revealed that Girardi had allegedly stolen millions of dollars from his clients. Girardi was disbarred in 2022, and following bankruptcy his iconic building on Wilshire Boulevard was purchased by Gary Dordick to be the Los Angeles office of the Dordick Law Corporation.
