Dordick Law Corporation is proud to welcome our distinguished ABOTA Fellow, Magnolia Cabada, to our team. Hosting an ABOTA Fellow is a prestigious honor for a firm and a great mentorship opportunity for the future attorneys of America. This fellowship is extra special since our founder and managing attorney, Gary A. Dordick, was recently appointed as the 2025 president of the Los Angeles Board of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA). Since day one, he has expressed that one of his main objectives as president is to encourage younger, upcoming attorneys to engage with the organization and to include a more diverse pool of trial lawyers.
Magnolia Cabada is a 2025 ABOTA Fellow and recent graduate of Loyola Law School. She sat for the California Bar Exam this past summer and has an impressive background in both criminal and civil law. As a certified law clerk, Magnolia gained courtroom experience at the L.A. District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, where she handled hearings in state and federal courts. She also developed a strong foundation in civil litigation, working on cases involving personal injury, civil rights, and medical malpractice.
During law school, Magnolia showcased her advocacy skills as a member of the Byrne Trial Team, served as a public policy fellow for a national human rights foundation, and contributed to legislative drafting through her research at LLS’s Anti-Racism Center.
Fluent in Spanish, Magnolia has also worked as an interpreter and built professional experience in marketing, advertising, and the service industry. Beyond law, she holds degrees in Theatre and Jazz Studies (vocal performance), fields in which she has worked professionally.
Magnolia is thrilled to join the Dordick Law Corporation this month, where she looks forward to learning from and contributing to our talented team. Welcome Magnolia!
