Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities (LATLC)
Our gratitude extends far beyond the courtroom. Every year, our team dedicates time and resources to programs that uplift our community and create opportunities for others. Two initiatives especially close to our hearts are our partnership with the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities (LATLC).
Through LATLC, we’re proud to sponsor and volunteer at the annual Day of Dignity, a heartfelt day of service for the unhoused community in Los Angeles. During this event, volunteers set up a welcoming “clothing store” filled with gently used clothes, allowing guests to choose what they need in a dignified, supportive environment. Each year, this event reminds us how simple acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.
Corporate Work Study Program
We are also honored to take part in the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), an initiative that empowers high school students from Los Angeles’ communities to gain paid, hands-on professional experience. These students often come from communities where early access to professional opportunities is limited, yet through our partnership with Verbum Dei’s CWSP, they not only gain valuable career skills but also earn income that goes towards their school tuition, helping ensure they can continue their education. Welcoming these bright, motivated students into our firm reminds us that mentorship and opportunity can transform lives, families, and communities for the better.
Beyond Los Angeles
Our work in the community doesn’t end in Los Angeles. Each year, the Dordick Trial College gives us the opportunity to support a cause that is deeply meaningful to our team. Through our annual trial college in Cabo San Lucas, the event helps support cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
It’s a small way we try to contribute to a much larger effort, one that touches so many families, including our own clients, friends, and colleagues. We’re grateful for the chance to play even a part in this important work, and we remain thankful to everyone who makes it possible.
We’re especially thankful for the Los Angeles community, a community that inspires us every day with its resilience, generosity, and heart. Our offices in Downtown Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Riverside are deeply grateful to the people who have placed their trust in our firm to stand up for their rights, and we remain committed to advocating for them with the same dedication and compassion that define our work.
