Dordick Law Corporation was recently recognized among the most impactful civil litigation firms in the United States in the Lex Machina 2026 Law Firms Activity Report, a data-driven analysis of U.S. firms based on case activity and outcomes from 2023 to 2025. The recognition underscores the firm’s continued presence in high-profile, high-stakes litigation nationwide.
Reflecting on this important milestone, Gary A. Dordick shared with The Daily Journal:
“If somebody wants to be a good trial lawyer, they have to try cases and learn the art. A lot of people want shortcuts or think they can just stand up and ask for billions of dollars, and a jury is just going to give it to them, and that’s not the case. It’s hard work and dedication, and that’s what this profession is about.”
That momentum is further reflected in Dordick Law Corporation’s latest development in the Alec Baldwin Rust case, which has been widely covered by Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, ABC, and other major outlets.

Following the Court’s decision denying the motions for summary judgment filed by Rust Movie Productions and Mr. Baldwin, Dordick Law Corporation partner John Upton wrote and argued the opposition to the motion for summary judgment:
“We are pleased with the Court’s decision denying the motions for summary judgment filed by Rust Movie Productions and Mr. Baldwin. The ruling allows our client to present his case to a jury at the trial now set for October. He looks forward to finally having his day in court on this long-pending matter.”
This latest milestone builds on Dordick Law Corporation’s ongoing record of success. In 2025, Associate Attorney Taylor Dordick secured a $115 million jury verdict in the Zarini v. Gucci case, recognized by the Daily Journal as one of the Top Verdicts by Dollar Amount.
Further underscoring the firm’s consistent excellence, Gary A. Dordick has also been named a 2026 Super Lawyers Top 100 honoree, marking his 18th year receiving this distinction.
