At Dordick Law, we are proud to have Danielle Dhari as part of our team. She is not just an attorney—she's a passionate advocate for justice, with an unwavering commitment to fighting for those who need it most. With a diverse background that spans from psychology to trial advocacy, Danielle's unique skill set and dedication make her a standout in the legal world.

From Psychology to Law: A Foundation Built on Understanding Human Behavior

Danielle's journey into law began with a strong academic foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuroscience and Behavior, from a prestigious university. Her studies provided her with a deep understanding of the psychological aspects that inform legal practice, giving her an edge when it comes to understanding human behavior and motivation—key components of any legal case.  She also worked for the San Francisco Medical Examiner's forensic toxicology lab before starting law school

Her passion for justice only grew stronger, leading her to pursue a Juris Doctor at LMU Loyola Law School, where she honed her skills in Civil Litigation. Danielle's time at Loyola was marked by her exceptional trial advocacy abilities. As a proud member of the renowned Byrne Trial Advocacy Team, she traveled the country, competing in some of the most prestigious trial competitions in Houston, Philadelphia, and Denver. Her achievements on the national stage are a testament to her talent and determination.

Recognized Excellence in Trial Advocacy

Danielle's dedication to trial advocacy hasn't gone unnoticed. In 2024, she was honored with the ABOTA Award from Loyola Law, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the legal community and her exceptional skills as a trial lawyer. She also received the National Association of Women Lawyers Award for her leadership and advocacy within the legal profession, further cementing her reputation as a rising star in the field.

Her talent in the courtroom has earned her accolades at numerous competitions, including the Outstanding Advocate Award at the National Trial Competition in Colorado and the Top Advocacy Award at the Advanced Trial School in St. Andrews, Scotland. These recognitions speak volumes about Danielle's ability to fight for justice at the highest levels.

Fighting for Those Who Can't Fight for Themselves

Danielle's commitment to justice was solidified during her internship with the Sex Crimes Division of the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. There, she worked on behalf of vulnerable populations, particularly children, and experienced firsthand the importance of standing up for those who are unable to advocate for themselves. This work sparked a passion in Danielle for victims' rights—a passion she carries with her in every case she handles.

Her extensive experience in both the legal and psychological fields has given her a unique ability to connect with clients and understand their needs on a deeper level. Whether she's representing victims of crime or advocating for individuals in civil cases, Danielle brings both empathy and expertise to her legal practice.

Mentoring the Next Generation of Attorneys

In addition to her work as an attorney, Danielle is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of legal professionals. As a former fellow with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), she continues to give back by coaching the Byrne Trial Team at Loyola and serving as an adjunct professor, teaching trial advocacy to law students. Her efforts to support and guide aspiring attorneys reflect her deep commitment to the profession and to shaping the future of law.

A Well-Rounded Advocate with Diverse Interests

Outside the courtroom, Danielle's interests are as diverse as her professional accomplishments. She enjoys practicing Krav Maga because it helps her stay focused and disciplined—qualities that serve her well in both her legal practice and personal life. She's also an artist and loves to cook, often finding inspiration in the creative process. Danielle's wide-ranging hobbies add a unique perspective to her approach to law, blending analytical insight with creative problem-solving.
