After twenty-five years of practicing law with prominent law firms throughout Orange County, California, Thanh has brought his unique perspective and experience to the Dordick Law Corporation. “Tang,” as he has been known since immigrating to the United States as a four-year-old, has litigated matters ranging from catastrophic personal injuries to contractual disputes between real estate developers and general contractors.
A longtime California resident after relocating from Vietnam, Thanh began his education at the University of California–Los Angeles, but upon realizing the folly of that decision, transferred to the University of Southern California, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Finance. Thanh next attended and graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law. During his time at Pepperdine, he gained valuable experience working as a law extern with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in its capital crimes division and as a law clerk for the Honorable Gary Taylor (ret.), United States District Court, Central District of California.
Thanh is licensed to practice law before all state and federal courts in California. He is a member of Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and Consumer Attorneys of California. On weekends, Thanh can often be found with his family attempting to grant whatever wish his toddler daughter asks and being run ragged by a son with limitless energy, who has yet to understand that his father’s body does not recover quite as quickly. Most importantly, he can be found attending to his wife’s happiness, if only to repay a small fraction of everything she does for their family. In 2025, Thanh was named Director of Litigation for Dordick Law Corporation, where he oversees complex litigation and advances the firm’s trial strategy.
Outside of these personal endeavors, Thanh has traveled extensively throughout the world, eating his way through Eastern Asia, hiking the peaks of Machu Picchu, relaxing in Maine, enjoying the surf in Maui, and everything in between. When not otherwise traveling, Thanh loves to cook, eat what others cook, and enjoy what life has to offer… one day at a time.
