Dylan attended the University of California, Hastings School of Law in San Francisco where he was a distinguished member of the school’s trial advocacy competition team. As a member of the team, Dylan won the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association’s annual mock trial competition and placed second in Golden Gate University’s annual competition in addition to being awarded the best oral advocate in his Moot Court class.
Dylan was also the president of the Homeless Legal Services organization where he volunteered to provide free legal services to the residents of the largest homeless shelter in Northern California. For his efforts, Dylan earned the Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono, a distinction awarded to students who completed over 150 hours of pro bono work. Dylan was also presented with the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Services by the State Bar of California.
After graduating Cum Laude from the University of California, Hastings School of Law, he joined a prominent personal injury firm where he tried several cases to verdict, including co-trying a disputed liability spine injury case that resulted in a four million four hundred thousand dollar verdict ($4,400,000.00) which was the 14th largest car accident verdict in California in 2018. When the opportunity arose, Dylan took the next step in his career and joined his family’s law practice. He was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2020 to 2026, an honor reserved for the top‑rated emerging attorneys in California and reflecting widespread peer recognition and professional achievement in personal injury law.
Since joining the family practice, Dylan tried a case as lead trial counsel that resulted in an award of $10,205,904.00 for a little girl hit by a car who suffered a traumatic brain injury and in their first trial together as a father-son duo, a jury returned a verdict of $8,449,723.92 for our client who was hit by a car resulting in ankle, knee and back surgeries. Dylan was the lead attorney on the Brown v. Beach House Design and Development case which led to an appellate court decision that was one of the most favorable developments in the law for work place construction injuries in a generation and he consistently obtains seven and eight figure settlements for his clients by following the famous diplomacy tactic of Theodore Roosevelt: “Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.” Mr. Roosevelt described this strategy as “the exercise of intelligent forethought and of decisive action sufficiently far in advance of any likely crisis.” As an advocate who handles cases from injury to trial, that is his guiding principle.
In his free time, Dylan enjoys going to the boxing gym, seeing live music, and reading nearly every genre of book he can find. He was also a professional brewer prior to becoming a lawyer and enjoys going to breweries and distilleries around the country. He is a life-long Los Angeles Kings fan, loves watching MotoGP motorcycle racing, and enjoys collecting vintage Hawaiian T-Shirts and concert posters from historical venues. If you see him out and about, you are likely to see him wearing one of his favorite Stetson Open Road hats, which were popularized by President Truman and President Johnson.
