Former Baldwin Park Police Chief Lili Hadsell was awarded $9.5 Million in a Los Angeles verdict/settlement after she was wrongfully fired. The jury concluded Hadsell, who worked for the Baldwin Park Police Department for almost ten years before being appointed as the first female, Latina Chief of Police in the history of the city, was subjected to gender discrimination, gender harassment, and retaliation before being fired in 2013.
