In October of 2023, Pedro Antonio Tellez was arrested for sexually assaulting minor students at John Muir Elementary School in Glendale, California. Tellez was an employee of the Glendale Unified School District, working as an aide for special needs students. He is facing at least eight felony counts of lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14, after molesting at least six boys. At the time of the arrest, the Glendale Police Department stated there were likely additional victims in Los Angeles County, dating back five years or more.
There is nothing more disturbing than a child being deliberately hurt by an adult entrusted with keeping them safe. Dordick Law Corporation stands with the victims of such horrific breaches of trust, and with their families. You are not alone. We'll fight for you and see that justice is done.
Coming forward as a victim of abuse, or the parent or guardian of a victim of abuse, can be scary and intimidating. You can share your story with us in a manner that is safe and confidential. We'll help you to expose the person who hurt you or your child, and by doing so make sure it never happens again to another child.
If you are a survivor or a parent of a survivor of abuse, we encourage you to consult with legal counsel before making any decisions about the path forward. Together, we can make California schools a safe place for all children.
At Dordick Law Corporation, we will work to hold all parties responsible for their actions. Call us today at (310) 551-0949 or fill out our online form to schedule a free consultation. We will answer your questions and advise you on your best legal options.
