
For more than three decades, Gary A. Dordick has been a legal powerhouse in Los Angeles. Dordick has built a law firm renowned for its commitment to advocating for plaintiffs, as well as its growing employment practice. Now he takes on new challenges as the newly appointed president of the Los Angeles American Board of Trial Advocates (LA-ABOTA).

What began as a one-man operation immediately after passing the bar has flourished into a formidable legal institution. Today, Dordick Law Corporation has offices in Downtown LA, Riverside, and Beverly Hills, employing over 68 staff members, including 20 associate attorneys. Among them are his wife, Nava, and three of their children—Michelle, Dylan, and Taylor—who have followed in his footsteps. Meanwhile, his son Kyle is currently pursuing his law degree, ensuring that the Dordick legacy continues.

Gary A. Dordick's extensive experience includes more than 150 trials, many of which have resulted in record-setting verdicts. His unwavering dedication to the right to a civil jury trial is evident in his longtime membership with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Since joining ABOTA in 1995 and achieving the prestigious rank of Diplomate, he has been a fierce advocate for preserving and promoting the civil jury trial system. His passion for the law extends beyond the courtroom, as he actively lectures at local law schools, mentors law students, and hosts the annual Dordick Trial College to help shape the next generation of trial lawyers.

As he takes on the role of LA-ABOTA President, Gary A. Dordick's objectives are:
