Dordick Law attorneys fight for survivors of sexual assault and exploitation.
On Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, Sean “Diddy” Combs was charged in Manhattan Federal Court with racketeering and sex trafficking following years of sexual abuse and exploitation of women, men, and teenage girls. Allegations against Combs date back to the 1990s and include reports that he forced victims to engage in recorded sexual activity. His California and Florida homes were raided in March and the criminal investigation is ongoing.
Sexual abuse is a crime anywhere in the United States. Our criminal justice system serves to punish the criminal. Sometimes, that means incarceration, and sometimes the criminal is ordered to pay restitution, but often that does not amount to much.
Fortunately, survivors of sexual assault do not have to rely on restitution alone. When the circumstances allow it, a survivor of sexual assault can file a civil lawsuit and be compensated monetarily for the harm they suffered. Gary A. Dordick and our team of attorneys hold perpetrators of sexual assault, sexual abuse, rape, and sexual exploitation accountable for their misconduct.
